As I noted yesterday, the first half of this month is a bit of a double-edged sword. On the one hand, I have two clear weeks of relaxation and stress-free time where it makes absolute 100% sense to play the glorious game of poker. On the other hand, unless you hadn't noticed, I have a Vegas trip lined up on the 17th and really want to head on out there with a healthy balance and a bright and fresh attitude, NOT having lost a bundle of money and feeling the need to have to win it back.

I am out of London, at the present time, and away from the missus and the daughters and from the hustle and the bustle of the big city. It is a glorious sunny day and I'm currently staying in the sunny seaside resort of Bournemouth. PKR is definitely calling me at the moment and I do still have the small matter of clearing 45% of a reload bonus which will net me around $93. I guess this means an upcoming deposit will have to occur shortly - it's just a small matter of deciding how much and at which stakes I should play at...

I'm also thinking about visiting the good ol' Gala Casino along Westover Road for some live action but we'll see, we'll see.
